President's Message

With the summer in full bloom, the center bustled with a lot of activity.

The quarter saw children celebrating events such as Independence Day, Teacher's day, Janmashtami, National Sports day etc.

This gave reason for the children to be excited which showed on their smiling faces.

Children also participated in various acticities and competitions e.g Khelo India, Annual Arts Competition, etc.

At Khushboo, we derive immense pleasure in creating opportunities to add joy and meaning to the daily lives of our children and hope we are able to do so on an ongoing basis.

Success Story
Aryan Verma was 5 years old when he first visited Khushboo in
July 2017 with his parents. He is a child with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  At the time of admission he was fully dependent on his parents for Activities of Daily Living.  He also had sitting and eye contact issues. He was also afraid of heights.  After thorough assessment by our medical team and special educators a proper developmental plan was set up and training was provided regularly. Also his mother was trained on various aspects of child care. With regular training Aryan has shown improvement and he is now independent in toileting, he cuts roti into small pieces and eats on command. He also sits at one place and does coloring in shapes, bead making at command and is also not afraid of heights anymore. He now enjoys to be on the swing and playing on fun station. He also arranges things at their respective places. Earlier he used to stay alone but now he enjoys small group activities.
